Layer 3 is the fun one with the controls for adjusting the backlight colour, brightness, effect and effect speed!

Im still a little confused how the RGB works ... Is "color 1 " referring to the alphas and "color 2" the mods? How would someone set per key colors? Or is it effects on all keys? I tried watching the video with the demo but couldn't really hone down where the key colors are individually set.

I've got Laser waiting for mine, but I'm not sure how the purple will look. Definitely going to find a set to match the board rather than a board to match Laser cause ugh. I can't get over how good that LAKE looks.

The GUI configurator will make it more obvious what is possible... until then... each effect can use Color 1 and/or Color 2. So one effect is using Color 1 for alphas, Color 2 for mods. Another is doing a vertical gradient between Color 1 and Color 2. Some ignore Color 1 and Color 2 and are "rainbow" effects. All effects are on all keys, and there is no per-key color setting - this is design choice that I've carried through from Zeal60/Zeal65. I never intended it to be on par with a "gamer keyboard", just make the LEDs glow in between keys in colors that match the keyboard case/keycaps.

I doubt that Lake would be in Run 2 if it happened, seeing as the Rama M6-B had different colours than the M6-A  :(

Yep! You can do that directly through the board and then more accurately through the configurator (in real-time!)

Yep, I've never done a GB before, mostly due to the fact a lot I've seen a done via Google docs and similar mediums, and generally feel a bit skeptical. As a first-timer, Rama really couldn't have done a better job at making the process smooth af, and the updates are massively appreciated. Rama, Kate and Wilba really go above and beyond, and I'm sure the finished product will too.

You can expect many more orders from me in the future! I just wish I could jump of the Koyu GB   ;)


My 2 years of wanting a RAMA board is almost over, and it can't come sooner!  :thumb:
