Introducing Griffin

Edited 6/5/23: Added GB Page and updated all the TBD info

A new take on our mythical creature lineup in a tried and true 60% layout. Designed by melonbred, Griffin is a fun take on a 60% keyboard based on the design of the 40% Pegasus.
This design is simplified with an aluminum top shell, with the main aluminum bottom being the bezel that sticks up around the keycaps.
The weight is CNC engraved with a fierce Griffin, and perfectly compliments the Pegasus.







Designed To Be Customized

With in house cerakote options, Griffin is set up to maximize customization with your favorite keycap sets.
The separate top bezel and bottom case combine to create very unique combinations, and you can customize to your hearts content.

Typing Angle: 6°
Front Height: ~16.8mm
EKH: ~21.57mm (Edited)
Case Material: 6063 Aluminum for the top and bottom case. Brass for weight
Layout Variants: WK Only
Mount: Gummy o-ring mount, ships with 30A, 50A, and 70A O Rings
PCB: SST60 or SST60HS
DB: S1 UDB
Plate: All our plates are available. Default plate material is Black FR4
Weight:  ~ 1KG with case top, bottom, and weight in brass

Case Colors: Raw (As Machined), Silver, Black, Red, Purple anodization colors or Blizzard, Starry Night, Buwu Blast, Stormtrooper White, Cosmic Crush Colorshift, or custom cerakote customization
Cost: $300 for anodized color, solder PCB, and FR4 Plate. Pricing varies for other configurations.

Looks great! I love the customization possibilities with the combination of the extruded bezel and surrounding case-top, and it's topped off with some great work from OCM on that weight.

This looks fantastic. I love to see something different out there. And dual 3u spacebars... so nice.
I can't help but think this would be amazing with a PC body, what with the aluminum external bezel (of sorts). I know that's a very different process/source from the alu body though!

Yep, Keebnewb and StacySmash are building one soon, and I'll have at least one more build during the group buy.

Just updated the main post with all the TBD info and added the GB page to check out. Griffin will be launching July 1st and running to Aug 1st. We will have a few build streams coming too. I will update here once we get info for that.
