MOBIUS

About us

Hi, I'm Romain from Eclipse team, Mobius is our first keyboard. I am particularly looking forward to introducing our new keyboard to you.
After spending more than a year on it, we have finally come up with a preliminary design and would like to share it with the community.

Why the name MOBIUS?

From the initial stages of design, we envisioned incorporating an asymmetrical design and drew inspiration from the Mobius strip to create a keyboard that exudes a sense of twisted power.
We have taken references and made efforts to cultivate this unique aesthetic in the keyboard.

We have added a gesture module, and its functionality can be customized in the software.
For example, you can assign it to act as any key, a combination of keys, multimedia keys, or perform batch actions.

The metal logo block on the side can be replaced with a prism, which reflects the side light to the front, creating a unique lighting effect.

consider moving the in-switch RGB to the backside of the PCB or removing it entirely since not all switches have the cutouts for the LEDs on the top side

I added an option for a PCB version that has no RGB and only retains the light bar. The IC form has also been updated with PCB-related questions to gather feedback from everyone. Thanks!

Updates:
1. We added ISO support for this layout option, but only barebone keyboard#1 type is available for ISO layout.
2. We have added aluminum as an option for Plate selection.
3. We are considering installing the LED lights on the back of the PCB board to facilitate support for some switches. We will make a sample and compare it with the existing PCB board.

Cool design: thanks for including ISO support. I don't love the base, but other than that I like what you've come up with. The price seems very reasonable.

Do you have plans to share the prototype with any Streamers or YouTubers, or upload your own build to YouTube? I'd be interested to see a video of this board being built and / or tested.
