Sorry if this is a stupid question, but why hiragana subs if this is based on Blue Chinese Wisteria? You mentioned that you considered cangjie but didn't want too many alpha kits...but cangjie might make better thematic sense.

Oh no, it's not! At first, when I made this set a while ago it was to be purple just like the Wisteria trees but at that time there were too many purple sets were out so I decided to change it to Blue. Hence It had the Hiragana first But, I've got more new info about ePBT kittings so definitely will redo my kittings

Love the dark blue alphas! Would be great to have dark blue spacebars as well. Also, the spacebar novelties could be improved or removed.

Awesome! Looking forward to it!
As reference, I think ePBT Grand Tour has a very nice kitting, but that only works if you go with random legends.
KAM Sewing Tin also another minimal kitting but has good coverage imo. Though I admit I'm not expert with kitting.
