Okay so... here goes.
ISO is probably not going to work out. There simply aren't enough people and I found out today that because the J shape return can't be run with everything else, it makes the set obscenely expensive in low quantities. If we were doing large volumes of this, it wouldn't be a problem, but since we've only got 6 buyers, it isn't looking good. I would cringe to ask these guys to pay $51 if we make it to 10 orders, and simply refuse to make people pay nearly $100 for 4 keys. I know a lot of you guys said that you would pay almost any price to get them, but I don't think even you guys can justify that. Losing 6 orders kinda hurts, but at this point not enough to cause anyone else much effect, though every ISO order has either a combatability or 104 kit tacked on to it.
Filco Leo spacebar has been confirmed, though it wasn't in there initially. There was a slight price increase but I absorbed it in the padding from rounding up to the next dollar in my initial quotes. A bit less profit but w/e.
Biohazard requires quite a lot more setup fees than anticipated. Its $45 for each key type, so if I do a mod key with it for this I'd have to cover that myself, which I don't feel like doing as much. I figured I could stomach the $25 no problem but this looks more and more like it is suited for its own group buy. There will be another $45 to do an esc key, but if we get lots of orders that figure disappears quick. I just need to remember to collect it at the end, because thus far in all of my group buys I have forgotten every time. That's like $200 in mistakes so far lol.
However, not counting the legend fees, the prices would go up to these, if anyone is interested:
75 sets $47.93 / set100 sets $44.54 / setNot too bad for an extra couple of keys, but like I said its probably not going to happen since I don't like making changes to the price structure and I would be inclined to add another $.45-.60 per order to cover the fees. I was thinking it would be an extra dollar, not 3.
Tsangan keyset price increase was where I expected, basically another dollar. No big deal there and I don't expect it to change anyone's mind, especially when this has gotten so cheap.
This is specifically directed at Hazeluff, but here is quote what Melissa said about the Biohazard and Windows 8 SVGs:
The spacing between the boxes on the windows 8 logo is a little too small, but I can make this minor modification before we create it. The biohazard is too large for the 'legendable space' - especially if you want it on a 1x1 keycap at some point. The legendable space for a modifier (which I take to be a 1.25x) is 0.545" wide x 0.427" tall - this image is measuring 0.5347" x 0.5129". We are also going to loose a bit of the detail on the 'points' of the image as our cutter size doesn't go that small.
The complaint about losing detail with the cutter was expected, but yeah, it needs to be more square or something, I'm not sure what you need to change to make that work. Try and maximize it to what she said though, so it stays as large as possible.
