Is there 1800 support planned or possible?

I already get some dyesubs soon, from LYN, so I am not sure if I would be interested then in these Gaterons too.

All the 1800 keys are already in the base set, aren't they?

No. For some reason mine didn't incluide the 2x blank keys, but it is possible to ghetto rig an 1800 layout w/ the caps that the set comes with, it just won't match profiles of true 1800, so that is why I am asking about maybe additional kits.

I'm definitely in. Saw these on TaoBao. Drool. This group buy would be legendary if you managed to include dyesubbed ISO keys and windowed as well.

Will these be dyesubbed by Gateron? Is it possible to have 1.25 blanks instead of winkeys?

Also, option to buy ISO enter in every color as a set. Blanks or dyesub. Don't know. Will probably gather a ton of interest.

It is kind of hard to contact him because it is chinese-only, so Valentine may be for later down the road after this one, but I agree it would be really cool.

I personally think they are not on par with stuff like GMK and BSP. Don't get me wrong, they feels pretty decent and my set got no warping on the spacebar, which is nice.

IMSTO got back to me and he is not offering dyesub anymore. The only chance we have as far as Olivetti goes is waiting for the guy to reply, or seeing if Lyn can do it.

Yeah, I don't have a set of BSP, but I have friends that have both of them, it's just all about the nitpicky things like texture, material residue, slightly weird dye sub on certain keys. To me Gmk just feels more premium, but it's made with different material.
They are close, but not quite there yet.

Yep. These are cheaper than BSP / Vortex. I am also talking to him about different colors that you can't get off of TaoBao. It is also less hassle for other people if I just order them for everyone and distribute, especially if people are not familiar with TaoBao.

If they fixed the stem tightness issues, and shrinkage on the spacebars they would be close to BSP(I have 3 different sets of BSP; Russian, Black Otaku, Classic Beige Red).
As someone who likes smooth PBT, BSP is the best. The downside of BSP is their limited selection of caps and high price, and their in house Dye-sub sucks so you have to go through IMSTO which raises the price some more.
Don't get me wrong, IMSTO does awesome dyesubing just going to someone else raises the price usually along with the wait time.

TL;DR Cons of Gateron when compared to BSP: Stem tightness, Shrinkage on 7u spacebars, less smooth. Pros: Cheap, large selection of keys.

I've been using a mix of og cherry alphas with blank gateron F keys, mods and arrows on a ducky tactile gret board and it is TITS!

In comparison, the Massdrop Adler gmk felt crappy.

I for one am ready for the Gateron Dyesub sex!

Mine is perfectly fine. I can pull it off and try something Monday. I also use clears and have never had an issue with mine.

I've been staring at these for like a week and a half now considering just that.  I managed to track down another black 7u bar but my OCD would still prefer a truly matching one.  I'll probably just pull the trigger since IMSTO hasn't responded to my PM's.

Are you trying to put it on your Viper?  Last has had a hell of a time fixing my stabs and replacing the wire after the space bar did its little number.  Be careful you don't end up bending the wire trying to get the bar off like me.   Might not be a bad idea for us to order a bunch from IMSTO like Knives said and just see if we get lucky.

Yes on my viper I bent the piss out of mine luckily I had replacement on hand  my problem with IMSTOs spacebars is that I believe they are from the same batch and I'm sick of ruining stabs trying to get a freaking Spacebar to fit  ) I ordered some black GMK space bars but they will feel different and I doubt they will match color wise. This sucks 8-/ and really ruins this Keyset for me .....
