I don't know of any manufacturer that makes PBT spacebars for Topre switches.
If someone could be persuaded to tool up for this, either conventionally or via 3D printing, it would be great. I would not care which manufacturer -- whichever one could be persuaded to do it.
Colors could start with "white" (ivory; cream; off-white) and/or black.

You don't need to measure it. Just look at a picture. That's a lot of spacebars. I'm not even sure that that can happen. Unless you get maybe EK on board.... But I think $13 is a bit much, and of course, he'd have to add money to that to profit. I don't think a lot of people would be up for that, so he might not even consider it.

Although I don't care for the layout on the JP variant of the HHKB, in general I like the idea of a very small spacebar.
However, what I have in mind for PBT Topre spacebars is the 6x size found on the RF 87u and HHKB Pro 2.

The MOQ is already kind of high and I am not sure if colored HHKB sets are as in demand as PBT topre spacebars which have never been done before.

But complete key sets haven't been done either, have they? Would certainly be worth it to check how much interest is out there. I for one would buy a complete pack of all the colors :)

I figured I'd try and get some colors from Topre as well, since I think 002 and I have a different guy. Apparently they don't like to give out their colors unless they know you're a serious buyer. Probably why they don't want to give them to us, since they don't know how many people will flake out, while a corporation will stick with whatever they order.
Should get a response in the next few days.
I know it's kinda weird for me to do this now, but I forgot that the guy works for Topre. He was telling me about his new RF (he got a 91U) when I remembered.
They really don't like to give out their colors to just anyone, it seems. I asked him to get me a better explanation that what I got, but he says that it's probably unlikely since we're not a corporation/company.

it is not clear yet where this GB will originate from. Zero started the IC but MK is not currently involved (probably I should open a new thread to avoid confusion).
I've been contacted by Massdrop that seems interested in handling this. I have not been officially contacted by MK, so I don't know their intentions. I guess they are waiting for a final quote.
The spacebars will be produced in Europe so if possible I'll try to ship European orders from Europe.
Yesterday, I contacted the manufacturer again and they promised a quote early next week.

I finally got the quote. It's very hard to swallow, they actually raised the MOQ (and lowered the per piece price).
I'll talk with the various parties involved and let you know if this could become a reality.

That doesn't seem as bad as I was expecting. Granted its still a ton of orders but with multiple vendors possibly jumping on board that should take care of a sizeable chunk. Maybe the rest could be filled by running a GB on MassDrop or something.
