So, I love Sriracha. I was thinking one night, "man, wouldn't some Sriracha themed keycaps be great." Then it hit me. Why not make some Sriracha themed caps? I'm not too good with rendering and stuff, so if someone would like to do it (free would be nice [lol, free stuff on the internet], but I'm willing to pay, I don't need anything fancy). Planning on this being Signature Plastics SA, but I'm not set on that.

Using some major Keyboard Layout Editor Skills (not really major lol) I got this for a general mockup

Colors I plan to use are
VCM for greens

RR for reds

And WA for whites.

Let me know what you think! I was trying to avoid it looking too Christmas-y, so if you have any recommendations on how to make it more Sriracha-y, do tell

It's very Christmasy, too. With the white legends, I'm reminded of the Mexican flag. Or Italian. Or any other flag that uses red, white and green.

Yeah, that was a bit of a concern I had. But hey, maybe people will like a Mexican Chrismas with Sriracha set

So I have some more alterations of it, and I think it's getting a bit better. So I've changed the red in the original design to SP's RAS.

I also tried something new someone on r/mk suggested, so let me know what you think of that too.

If there is interest in this I would for sure make chili/ rooster/ other spicy related novelties.

I really like it... is it wrong that I like because it's christmas-y? I'm just saying throw in a santa hat novelty in there along with the chilli pepper.

The darker tones of red and green seem to work with it. I'm no Sriracha fan, but this is a good homage to the chiliheads!

Looks good. Just be careful that it won't turn into a green and a red set that has been mixed with all the different mod colors.

Perhaps add an off-white stripe?

It's not bad with the darker red. A rooster and a pepper novelties would make this a pretty cool set. Probably help distinguish it from Xmas caps too.

I was going to keep my mouth shut, but then I thought...why not, this could be fun.

It seems like you're basing your design off of the Huy Fong Foods bottle that is well known in the US. With that in mind, I have several thoughts...

Keep the green to a minimum--accents on Esc and Enter only
Switch manufacturers to PBTFans and use their transparent top layer technology to really give the impression of sauce in a bottle
Consider a different color for the modifiers--perhaps simply transparent plastic to represent the bottle being used up OR a dark reddish-brown to represent the hoisin sauce that sriracha is frequently paired with
Consider adding some non-Latin legends/sublegends. You could go a couple of different routes here: 1) Thai would be a nice nod to the origin of sriracha as a type of sauce, whereas 2) Vietnamese would be more obvious to an American audience due to the sauce's close association with phở.
Rooster novelty on the ISO Enter key and additional novelties featuring "Natural Color" and "Shake Well" (bonus points for using the same typeface as the bottle design)

I agree with Fredington and like a lot of those ideas. This set has a lot of potential and I think you should work with the community to develop the idea.
