i think some of you guys might be looking at the time that your email was received at your inbox/mail service.

the timestamp way down near the actual email body is probably more accurate:

so have some hope even though the top timestamp had something later. :)

edit:  and maybe some of you submitted too early  :-X

I wonder if I got in now actually, idk which part of the code is accurate.

I have some code stating 30:01, some 30:02 and one 30:03, lol. I guess I'll know when invoices are out.

I'm surprised no-one has said this yet.

The time in your email is the email received time. This email was sent by Google in response to your form submission, so is by definition sent after your submission was received by some unknowable time interval. Servers are fast, but aren't instantaneous, especially considering the sudden spike of high load. This means that if your email time is 20:30:00 then it's possible your form was actually received at 20:29. Likewise, if your email time is 20:33:03, it's possible your form was actually recorded on 20:33:02 or 20:33:01.

With such a tight 2-second cutoff, there's a high chance that the email time is inaccurate for many people. The only way to know for sure it to see the filled spreadsheet, or just wait for your invoice.

Wow, please don't stress us even more. :D

Also, anyone got 30:00 and used outlook? I think people with Emails stating 00 or 01 used Gmail, as I can see my mail was forwarded through google servers at 01 and 02, but came to my outlook at 03.

keep in mind that the google forms, up to the mail servers that send out the notifications, would probably be within the same dc zone in google's side. and when it comes to infra timings, we don't talk seconds, but milliseconds, where a latency is 100ms+ is considered slow.

Well darn, I was spamming refresh on the form and saw it refresh and submitted as soon as I could. Then later I see the post yuktsi made about the form being enabled early.

I was trying to get in on mobile, while watching endgame lol, pretty sure I was the only one using my phone during the finale.
