viasacra89:
Hey GH, I was wondering how you guys clean your keycaps.  I have a filco majestouch 2, which i think is abs, and some random pbt caps.

If it doesn't then a search might help.

The_Beast:
I just use warm water and a tiny bit of soap. Then hand dry each key wiping off the top of the key with a bit more force

Originally I used ammonia and/or Jif to clean my keys.
I then moved to detergent and hot water.
But I now use denture cleaning tabs.
I find the tabs work very well.
Get some hot tap water and about 5-6 tabs and let them dissolve. Place keys in and leave for about 3-4 hours.
Wash after with clean water and dry.

fohat.digs:
Powdered laundry detergent in hot water. 1 spoonful in 2-3 liters is fine. I also add Oxi-clean or Biz.

Soak for an hour or less and rinse well.

Toss them onto a towel to air-dry in a couple of hours, or shake each one by hand to dry in 10-20 minutes.

Cheap, fast, leaves them feeling squeaky-clean.

Use alcohol or pencil eraser for stubborn spots.

Never use heat unless you are sure they are all PBT.
