[Base Kit]

About Cadet Sublegends: I got approval to use Cadet Sublegends from Oblotzky.
Do Cadet Sublegends increase production costs? "the legends don't cost more to use no, as they've already been made" said Oblotzky.
Disclaimer: The Cadet Sublegends in Renders may not be the same as the actual product, the final product will be the same as GMK Space Cadet.

[Novelties]

Novelties are constituted by:
Euler's two most famous constants:
γ (gamma): Euler's constant (sometimes also called the Euler–Mascheroni constant), is defined as the limiting difference between the harmonic series and the natural logarithm.
e: Euler's number, is a mathematical constant approximately equal to 2.71828 which can be characterized in many ways. It is the base of the natural logarithms.
Euler’s Identity: 'The Most Beautiful Equation'.
Euler characteristic: is a topological invariant, a number that describes a topological space's shape or structure regardless of the way it is bent. The polyhedra in novelties are: Icosahedron, Tetrahedron, Hexahedron, Octahedron, Dodecahedron.

I mean colours are inspired by a chalkboard like this:

I will publish colour after group-buy (if interest is high enough for GB).
For ISO novelty, I am trying to do it.

Thank you for your opinion.

Like the theme and the novs. GMK GBs are fickle things right now. If you don’t get the interest you want for the base kit, maybe consider taking the novs to CR black and ws1 white and making it an add on nov kit for WoB and vendors could sell along w a deskmat. Getting that kit to MOQ 100 might be doable.

Your inspiration shows a classic deep green chalkboard but you went with 100% neutrals? Confusing. As others have pointed out, this is extremely close to GMK Apollo and GMK Shashin. Yes the colors are not exactly the same, but nothing about this set makes it stand out from the other 2 that have come before it. At least the kitting is decent, though you're missing mod tilde, and I don't understand the point of R3 1u Home.

I'll pass on this one. Best of luck.

Going with RAL 6028 (or some other chalkboard-ish green) as an alternative/primary alpha kit color would be very nice to see, otherwise love the theme.

I agree with others in the thread, if your inspiration is a chalkboard you should look into using a dark green chalkboard color for the alphas. It would make the set different from the current dolch/apollo/etc look.

I will think about it. Thank you so much.
Why keep the colors secret?
Because I could use GMK stock color instead of custom color so it's not the final color, but it would be similar.
Ahhhh Euler.  The most mispronounced name for math undergrads everywhere.

I'm in!
In my country, we even called him \ə'le\  in the past :)

why 1.5u delete instead of backspace
Because 1.5u Delete/Backspace is usually uses in HHKB layout, and the OG HHKB has Delete instead of Backspace.

Maybe I took a wrong example image. Where I live since I was a kid, chalkboards usually have a black background and white chalk.

Speaking of sublegends, considering the sets inspiration, "cadet" sublegends are the way to go

This. If you want to do terminal ISO (basic support) there should be a r4 <>, not 2 pipes. Check GMK Classic Retro Zhuyin if you're unsure how to kit terminal ISO.

Also consider adding navigation sublegend to the numpad. It looks a bit empty in contrast to the busy alphas.

I also suggest adding mod color keys for R1 tilde and R2 pipe too. These are very important for aesthetic in some layouts. Hope you consider adding them. About the new renders, are those N9 and CR? They look a lot like them, however the alpha color is not N9 like Shashin in the comparison you make. I would love to see some deep green for board color  :thumb:

Have you considered including <> instead of cursed double \ for iso coverage?
Have you considered including <> instead of cursed double \ for iso coverage?

Fixed R4 / | with R4 < >.
For the numpad, I would like to keep it for my aesthetic.
Pretty sad I probably won't be able to do this at R1 to save on production costs. Thank you very much for your opinion.

Includes R3 1u home for some unknown reason but won't include standard keys like mod pipe and mod tilde to save production costs. Makes sense.
I also wanted to point out the obvious dodging on all the people saying that a dark green fits your inspiration much better.

The color comparison GMK Nord is as good a guess as what we’ll get as any out there

Love the work you’re putting in. The alphas being darker than N9 are gonna be real dark in non-sunlight and I’m looking forward to it.
