InfoWarning: This module can only be used if soldered on to the original GH60 as it does not have its own discrete controller. Other PCBs may work as well.You may be wondering what exactly this module kit is all about and it is fairly simple.
Many people just can't have enough keys on their keyboard so I have come up with the perfect solution.
However, let's not go crazy here. People don't need a million extra keys on their board.
I started thinking, "What if we added just one key to the GH60?"
And that is when the idea of the GH61 module kit came to me. I just knew that it was the most brilliant innovation since Cherry RealKey.
ComponentsThe PCB we are going to be using is a brand new PCB from
winkeyless.kr called the "B.1"
This is a fully programmable single key PCB that can do whatever the user wants it to do.
The front of the case has has an iconic "GH" engraving.
The case will be made of 6061 aluminum which will have SUPER ANODIZATION in silver, grey, red, black, sifo spirit blue, sifo soul pink and dank green.
There will also be a cutout for a brass insert which will add extra weight to the module.
At the back of the case there is a cutout for wire management to route your wires through.
Since people may be worried about the rigidity of the module we need to produce an adequate plate that will prevent flexing of the PCB.
Included in this kit is the very first 5mm stainless steel switch plate which is built into the case which also allows for switch top removal.
This is the absolute thickest plate that has ever been on the market and according to Cherry specifications it is the thickest plate you can possibly make.
As a bonus, the secret Project Zealio mystery item (whatever that is...) will be included gratis in the kit.
