YouTube playback speed glitch? Anyone?
« on: Sat, 05 September 2020, 08:12:20 »
In the past one was able to select the 0.95X and 1.05X playback speed to slightly down- or up-pitch the video audio. YouTube appears to have "fixed" this. Now whenever one of these two options are selected, the audio becomes laggy, choppy and inconsistent. It no longer affects the audio of the video in the aforementioned way. To be quite frank, the video becomes unwatchable. 0.95X and 1.05X where the only two speeds in which the quality of the audio was not negatively affected. They were the only two options that would smoothly slow down, or speed up the video playback, without making it appear choppy. This is no longer possible.

Since YouTube is run by monkeys, and does not offer any actual support to users or creators, does anyone here know if this can be fixed? Perhaps there are some plugins for Chrome that would allow me recreate the original experience?

Im really desperate here guys...
