I'll be bowing out for the rest of the clackvent since I was aiming just for one to adorn my KMAC. I hope fortune finds the rest of you soon.

I was recovering from a panic attack... I thought my cat had gone missing, I tore my apart my apartment looking for her...

Just when I had broken down to the point of calling my mother to console me, the kitty emerged from under my desk, which was the one place I had neglected to look...

This is the story of why I missed this Clack sale...

Well at least you found you cat. That's more important than the clack sale :)

sorry you missed it though!

Grats man! I wish I could just stop after one for each board. I'll be broke and living in a box on the side of my street with my 3 keyboards and every single key will be some sort of artisan cap, wont even be able to be used due to the random profiles but it will be worth it, I will be the coolest homeless nerd ever!

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I haven't been there since they started construction on that bridge but did you get on both? It's crazy looking down the dam. Where to from there? You going to hit the Grand Canyon since you're up in that area?

Didn't go on the bridge, but it's beautiful. My buddy is scared of heights, so fun looking over with him hehe.

Just back to mesquite. Been hanging out here for a few days and just did the day trip. Back to salt lake tomorrow. Was hoping to hit up California but between super bowl weekend and my buddies time constraints we didn't make it. Oh well, I'll be back this summer most likely.

My last sale, I was in a meeting with the other company directors

And I stopped the whole discussion just to post as soon I get notification

It's still a mystery to them why I hold the meeting for a minute in panic

Thanks all!

At work I have two laptops in docking stations on a KVM to share the two screens, keyboard, and mouse. One is a network machine, one is on an unfiltered “dirty internet”.  On the work network machine I have spy up for geekhack but posting is slow and annoying, so if VENT pops I hit the KVM and go to my dirty machine to post. About one in ten KVM jumps it won’t recognize the mouse, keyboard, or both, so I have to flip back and forth a couple times to get it to pop. This just happened to be one of those times, got in on my phone anyway. I’m so pumped.

That's 2nd win out of 34 posts. Yes its been a awesome week for sure. I'm going to try for a third but stop watching spy constantly on mobile when I'm not at my machines, its starting to drain on me. Told myself if I get two I'll just causally try for a third, but not obsess about it.

like literally at the gym if no one is there i'll carry my phone around on spy sitting on the power rack or on the floor in front of me, etc, when walking the dog i'll carry the phone on spy, when driving I have my phone in the mount on spy and zoomed in, when in the shower ipad on spy on the towel rack, when in the kitchen ipad on spy moving around with me, watching TV with the wife ipad on spy, its bad. I worked for those 34 posts.

Honestly I'll be glad when this is over so I can regain some of my screen! On a 1680 x 1050 screen with Spy taking up a 1/3 of that :/
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.
