Very nice.  Do you ever drink any good rums?  I am partial to Ron Zacapa.  It is a 23 year blended rum.  All the different rums in the blend are aged in previously used barrels.  These barrels have been used for either brandys, sherries, or a certain kind of red wine.  It is made in Guatemala and is very smooth.  About $42 for a 750ml bottle.  My newest one is distilled by Cedar Ridge actually about an hour south of me and is an 80 proof rum that is just as smooth out of the bottle as Malibu.

see some small scratches on the right side.  Just wondering. This is my first clack.

Look what I found inside, a nice note from USPS. Because a note makes it ok.

There are some marks but I'll see if I can make it work.

I'm not sure what a sour puss is but I was ordering some food for dinner.  :))

Here a couple of potato shots of it. The black stuff I think I can get rid of but there is one slight dent I can't get rid of. But overall not nearly as bad as I thought.

Did EK ship it to you like that? Simply putting the HHKB box in another slightly larger box would have probably completely protected it. I'd be pretty upset with whoever shipped it to you.

It was not EK, it was a private seller. Yeah I was surprised it was shipped in the original box like that.

Ouch.  I always use lots of bubble wrap for keyboards and keycaps.  Been insuring keyboards lately too--especially seeing what my LZ-GH went through.  Today I learned that springs should always be sent in bubble wrap too.  I'd discuss that with your seller--maybe he could knock some amount off what you paid.

Isn't insurance free up to 500? Get the insurance.

USPS Priority is free up to only $50.  Regular mail doesn't come with any as far as I know.

I'm not sure what a sour puss is but I was ordering some food for dinner.  :))

It was not EK, it was a private seller. Yeah I was surprised it was shipped in the original box like that.

have him refund you some cash for the crappy shipping. AT LEAST the shipping cost
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

I just thought they would have delivered it already zzz Scheduled delivery date was the 9th, then at around 8PM that night they changed it to the 12th. Tuesday arrives, nothing. Pick up sounds like a good idea at this point.

gumrot looks much better in a solid color IMO. the gummy version is a little hard to see since it's so detailed.
