If anyone in Australia is interested in wood wrist rest, I may do a smaller gb.
Prototype from the file should be coming today /soon, but since we don't have boards - can't test the fit. I'll post pictures as I get them. Prices to be confirmed

Would you be willing to open up to any non Australian enthusiasts?

Yeah. Can try organise so I can send to one proxy in the states and then internally sort out posting? That's what we normally do for Oz.

Here's the first prototype without sanding or paint. The cut rest is pine, the next will be oak. Also have access to cedar and red wood. If these updates are spamming this channel, then I'll take the convo elsewhere if people are interested. Cheers

I think EM7 is more wirstrest-friendly.
I use a wirstrest from a 96 keyboard for my EM7, it fix quite well.

Week #3 Production Update
- Machining for the aluminum top is done and the aluminum bottom is finishing. I am told to pick them up and send for anodization next week.
- Brass weight is in progress, will start working on the brass plate once the aluminum bottom is done.
- Expect to receive the final revision sample of the PCB next week, with the compatibility of non-stepped caps-lock added.

Attached is the template for the wrist rest, in case anyone wants to have one made. Thank you.

That looks cool. Any ideas what type of wood could go well with pink?

I think youre right, thanks for your suggestion. As much as Id love to have a local shop make this, I fear that the price wont be cheap. If theres a GB launching, please post that here so that I wont miss it.

I'm looking to get Alice wrist rests made from polycarbonate, sandblasted.

Looking at $60 + fees/shipping for 10 units or $50 + fees/shipping for 20 units.

If anyone is interested let me know, it is priced higher due to the low MOQ.

Nah it should be quite straightforward, they've done some poly work before this.

Also the price might fluctuate depending on final quote from the factory, I will post a Gform link tomorrow once I have things confirmed on my end.

Form for poly wrist rest is up, I will get a proto made ahead of time and see if it matches my proto Alice, if it does then it should be all good.

https://goo.gl/forms/hPP9NpoOMdS3Ooja2

Will close it by the weekend, and will only invoice once I check that my proto wrist rest is fine, so don't panic if you don't hear about it until a week or 2 later :)

With regards to the wrist rest, I've paid for a prototype and will post pics once I receive it. Once that happens I'll let everyone know so that you can decide if you still want to get one or not :)

Been a few days since I spoke with him too, I think he's having to deal with finals/exams of late so he's probably pretty swamped and will go through PMs when he can.
