IC Update:
1. Pricing has been set, however GMK has increased their prices since we got our last quote. We're looking everything over.
2. We've made the decision
not to offer pre-drilled G-H-B keys for TEX Yoda (the Extension kit still includes extra G-H-B keys for DIY'ers). TEX keyboards has graciously offered to CNC them at $2 per key, but the logistics overhead is too much: the procedure requires extra keys to account for errors; shipping from GMK → a vendor → TEX → a vendor → other vendors → buyers is too risky; unambiguously setting up the product pages is also a challenge; ETA is already 8 months, adding to that a probable 2+ months, while vendors hold on to several orders, could turn into a never-ending nightmare...
Since only 12 form responses were explicitly for Yoda, I think the simplest solution is to let buyers send their keys directly to TEX (Taiwan). DIY modification is also an option, perhaps we could publish a how-to guide for cutting/filing or constructing a jig.
Further, I will be sending some of my own G-H-B extras to TEX. Once the keys are drilled and in my possession, I will QC and sell them as extras on yakk.shop. This is by far the safest way to proceed, imo. Other vendors are free to do the same.
3. Lastly, we added an
extra 2u spacebar to the Ortho & 40's set. Enjoy!
