Is the key set finalized? I was wondering if there is a plan for 40% staggered support.

In your original photos your backspace key used the backspace icon… but in later renders you’ve gone with the long backwards arrow. I personally prefer the proper icon (the X is good for delete, while a plain left arrow feels like a cursor).

Yup, and my opinion and preference was changed seeing this IC. Or I can't just be bothered with feeling weird about having japanese keycaps since they look so good.

I think joining a GB like this one is perhaps closer but still actually quite far from your statement of "exactly to one's taste" and "cannot buy anywhere"

Sorry, I don't think there is enough demand for it. ISO was already a stretch.

Yep, coloured enamel is possible but I want to keep colour off this set.

Sorry, I'm not sure which original photo you are referring to. The Japanese mod kit has the more traditional style of arrow + text and the icon has the longer arrow on the 2u and box on the 1.25u which I think works for an icon mod kit. I am trying to differentiate the 2 mod kits as much as possible whilst sticking with the original theme and also allowing for mixing and matching between the mod kits.

Oh, it didn't change, it is still there on R3.
R4 2u has always been different since it mimics the GMK style. I think that if I made both of them the box style, quite a few people would complain.

Been watching this for a while now and can't wait for the GB to start. That RAMA artisan is such a good addition. I wish there was a 40's kit that allowed compatibility for non-ortho people. Adding R3 1.25u Tab (or control (but that is unrealistic)) and 1.75u Enter key would of been so sweet. Not sure if those sizes and molds are even available in ePBT

Super excited about this set! This will be my first GB and (hopefully) the first time my Filco Minila gets a full keycap set!
I'm wondering though, can I completely cover my ISO UK Minla?



There's only 1x 1u Shift [Essentials kit] and 1x 1.25u Fn [Standard/JP mod kit], however I plan on buying 2 sets so that should be okay.

But can I use the R2 1.75u Control key in R1? Or would it look blatantly out of place?
Minila Ctrl keys are kinda fragile for some reason (in 5 years I've snapped 5 LCtrl stems) so I get a feeling I'll have no backups and end up using whatever 1.75u keys (Shift/CapsLock prolly) that I can find ,'/
