Hey everyone!

Welcome to the IC! This is officially my first public set design, so without further ado, may I present ePBT Soju!
Obviously, the set was inspired by the Korean alcoholic drink, Soju. With a positive relationship with my love for soju and a negative tolerance level for alcohol, I decided to pay homage to it.

Initially, Version 1 (not my proudest work), included an accent color for most of the flavors; however, this would jack up the prices of the set and make it extremely expensive to produce.
Therefore, the two accents kit will be Green Grape and Peach.
If you do not like the original flavor and do not see your preference of flavor, it is likely that you have poor taste buds, but let’s hope that your tastebuds aren’t as poor as your eyesight 
Also, the novelty in accent kits is intentional. I want people to either pick Peach or Green Grape.

Interesting concept. I think it's so close to Royal Alpha that the main differentiators here are the sub-legends and novelties. Could be worth if that's your bag, but otherwise may be tough to compete.

Oops, forgot to address this. After I made the concept, I was told about Royal Alpha. I personally contacted that designer to see if it was okay with them. I tried to make alphas more cream and greens different, but ultimately it does have the light alphas + green mods look

Hey everyone! Thanks for the comments and feedback.

Addressing a few concerns that I see coming up a lot:

1. Double consonants on Korean alphas - Unfortunately, this is not up to me. I did design this initially without incorporating them; however, the person that will be tracing the molds is set on the double consonants. Sorry! (BEING DISCUSSED CURRENTLY)

2. Already addressed in the IC, again, I can not make accents for every color; however, I do see that some people may want accents for ALL of the mods, if that's the case, it may be at the expense of being more expensive.

3. Non-hangul legends- depends on demand (but it will take away from the set overall with no longer needing tripleshot)

4. Set compatibility: NorDe and Ortho (and anything else) - Originally, the set was made with full compatibility; however, JTK asked me to cut down the set to match their previous runs. Sorry again here too, it's not up to me!

5. A lot of comments/feedback in full Korean- sorry, I'm not Korean, I'm an aspiring alcoholic

Yeah, I'm trying to resolve the consonants. As for 7741C, it is slightly different in the physical Pantone book, and I'm afraid of going any darker so that it contrasts with the dark accents better. But thank you!

As of now, I have a few ideas in my head to pick between, but nothing to jump on yet. I think I will get someone in graphics design or have worked with deskmats to help me out to ensure it turns out successful!

I think epbt is the way to go. They seem to be making a lot of effort to get better, and as cool as tripleshot is there's a lot of sets in the pipeline that are about to do it. I would hate to see this project go into a sort of "development hell" because you're unable to decide. You have some fantastic kitting and theming already, you're more than halfway there to getting it into people's hands. A set like this not seeing the light of day would be a real shame!

-Regarding to this, yep! The point is that the sublegends will 100% be part of the final product. I do not intend on getting rid of them or making them a different color regardless of which manufacturer I go with.

I’ve been looking to get a nice JTK set and this seems it!!

Personally I’d love to see a grapefruit kit, too!
OR if there’s an alternative mods set that’s a mix of peach and grapefruit colors together? It would look great with the green.

And I have a font suggestion for 소주 novelties, inspired from the Cham Iseul soju attached below.
It’d also look fire.

I was imagining a more mature novelty kit given the theme is 20+ (and venting the stresses of life :’)) like detailing the angles of the soju glass (also attached below), but it seems you are interested in a more playful version of the kit with facial expressions on the novelty icons.

I think it’d really depend on how you would develop the set, but if it’s going to be JTK running late next year or something like that, there would be room for many more people (and many of them being Koreans as the interest is definitely rising) to join the community and I think 3,000 may as well be possible!

For sure, the Koreans would love the soju font and the realistic soju glass I’d imagine.

- Font suggestion has been mentioned in feedback of IC, and has now been updated!
- As for mature vs cute novelties, for me, the appeal of the flavors is more cute than it is a mature alcoholic thing. I wanted to stay on theme overall, and I decided to take the cute approach. I am not considering changing novelties to a more realistic/mature feel.

2. ePBT allowed for a lot of the changes that people requested. For example, JTK would not allow me to remove the top hangul legends nor have a 40s kit.
3. It is not the issue of easy or not, it's the reassurance that my set will be able to run and if it fails, it'll be on me and not factors that I had no control over.

1. Based off of previous and upcoming sets, it’s pretty easy to get a general consensus of what people like and buy. Maybe communicating with other creators and brainstorming what could fill that 2000 margin?
2. On the other hand, a lot of people like myself think the Hangul sublegends looked great on this set. Really great!
3. Why would it be better to fail on your own, rather than trying to put out a top quality product that could be centerpieces to a lot of people’s collections? Maybe it’s just an opinion thing.
Oh and are there still Peach F Keys? I saw a render with them but didn’t see them in the kits
