What was the final material used for top and bottom of Jane CE?  7075 for both top and bottom?

- Production was failed for the 10 units due wrong selection of material (7075) and the inexperience of new factory

And one last question.. are there any PCBs and Swith Plates that are available to purchase that fits TGR Jane in case if I wanted to put in new switches? Where can I get them?

Thanks for the clarification, yuktsi.    6061 is great.  I was talking with someone about this keyboard, and we realized we had no idea what ended up happening with the material selection.

6061 is commonly available and cheap. They are easier to be anodized unlike the 7075.
Just that the quality is too inconsistent as there are too many suppliers/sources in the market.

Hi all, hoping someone would be able to help me with a dead(?) Jane CE.
The other day I had apparently built up some static, and when I touched the board, it turned off and stopped responding.

I've tried reflashing the firmware (it enters DFU mode) which didn't work.

The interesting thing is that the keypresses assigned to in-switch backlighting still work, maybe because they are in a function layer?

Any help is appreciated.

Looks like I lucked out. I had him use the first round of Zealios in mine. I send them to him and he returned the board. But he didn't do all the work I paid him to do. :/

To be fair, mine has cost me almost $700 if I were to calculate shipping, parts, and labor.

Oh yea I'm sure the prices are justified as I have 2 boards from gbs that started in the 400 dollar range and after I was done are closer to the 700 dollar range.  Would just love to see a kit in the wild!

My Jane CE's switches have been prepped (takes me the longest time to do). MX Silent with gold stickers, 50g springs! I have to reflash GON NerD TKL PCB to QMK + SMD LED solder, which takes a little bit of time to prepare for.

Jane R1 is currently being dismantled (yucky build quality and component selection) and will be rebuilt with MX Vintage Black stems in RGB Cherry housings, silver stickers, 55g springs!

Until then, I have my beater board to type on (Orion v2).
