TX87 PCB, instructions
« on: Mon, 21 December 2015, 09:20:16 »
Yello, im having some issues getting the RGB leds to work on the TX87 PCB, creating this thread in order to document my findings because all current info is either in korean or non existent. might be so that my PCB is defect or smth but im starting this under the premise that it is not.

If you have the pcb up and running with RGB leds, please provide info.

I have the TX87 PCB but have not yet tried any of the RGB LEDs, what is the current issue that you're having? I'm assuming that you're using Leeku's JigOn firmware to program it as well?

i got some time yesterday to test away, and got a tip from yuktsi, figures you need all the rgb leds connected for it to work properly, hence also adding leds on RGB 1 and 2 which are located above the arrow cluster on the top side of the pcb, so i had to attach wires to the bottomside holes of the rgb connections to test it, yesterday when i connected everything i got 4 leds to work, seems i have not attached nr5 properly or the led is broken or smth.

Glad to see you're getting a few issues fixed. The TX87 is a good PCB but it does have its faults. I was having problems with my LEDs until I found out the one faulty one I had as well, and also misplaced a resistor on an unused pad. We should be getting the diffuser relatively soon as well so it won't be long before I dive into the trying the RGB LEDs as well. Sorry I'm not much help at the time being but if you're still having problems when I test mine out, I'll get back to you.

Oh sorry I apologize, I wasn't too clear. I accidentally soldered on a resistor on a pad that was going to be unused compared to the one that I needed. You can you can solder them on the whole board if you like but obviously there are certain ones that aren't necessarily depending on your layout.

Hello Henz, you will need to solder a bridge at rgb1 and rgb2. This issue is fixed for the CE pcb.
