Sometimes vintage (used) blues can feel different from new blues.  They'll likely just feel a little less crisp.  They're still really nice. 

The caps are one of the main reasons people buy the keyboard though.  The caps are worth more than you paid for the board.    Especially if they're not shiny.

Also, the 1800 layout is great so I would personally just convert the board to USB and use it as is.  )  But that's just me.

this is what I planned to do! I am trying to find and buy a good active PS/2 to USB converter, and solder it onto the inside of the board so I can use any USB cable instead. I really don't like the coily stock cable.

haha yeah. I just don't want to ruin the switches in case anyone is looking for "vintage blues" and I'm just sitting here with a set that I plan to mod the heckadoodle out of...

caps will be mine 4ever though, and I'd rather not sell them even if someone throws a lot of money at me. so that's not happening.

and it's not just you! I do love the layout. but I am a little saddened by the 2KRO limitations, as I play videogames.

Got back from the gym today to 3 packages (signed for by my plumber LOL).

First was this pretty awesome vest from eBay.



I'm not big enough to wear it yet, but it's there for my holiday.

I also got a very well packed pair of keys from Blackkat



The last two keys I needed to complete my ISO Model M



Finally got it done, now I just need to compliment it with a Bro...

And finally the second batch of I don't know how many cables I'm going to order from Pexon.



A zombie cable with purple shrink which I think was made for Ducky's backlight cycle on the Mini.





A Fusion green/black coiled cable for my WASD, with no shrink and a little gap on the Micro USB end due to the position of the socket underneath the board.





And finally a really nice AMD keychain, which I've added to my car key with my USB stick, and leather Auto Finesse ring.





I love them all as usual. He always does a great job, and his little notes in the packages are great and keep you coming back
