Hi, I am yuktsi, a maker/collector from the capital of Malaysia. This is a long overdue IC for the Jane v2, a TKL that I've been working on. It certainly takes time to produce and test each sample. Expensive too, I haven't been able to join any GMK's GB in a very long time.
About TGR Jane
Jane was the first board I ever created three years ago. The first Jane was this square-ish board with a tiny little brass weight inside, looks a lot like the KMAC2 because I wanted one so badly back then. I now possess all the KMACs I ever wanted, truly grateful that I am still around acquiring and producing keyboards.

v2 now comes with a redesigned plate, a new set of weights and an angle of 6.969 deg. Despite all the changes, it still has the look of the classy old Korean Customs.

Color, Delivery, Switch Plate, Price, Quantity
Choices of color might be limited to expedite the manufacturing process. Production takes around 30-150 days.
Laser cut aluminum plate might be the only switch plate option to keep the cost low. I am hoping to get at least 50 boards from the group buy. Price per kit should be around 500$.

AFAIK you use Aramex as well, which is a huge pain in the ass here in Germany. Either you pay Sovereign Couriers (the cartel that takes over local delivery) 45EUR in fees plus the 19% VAT to import it for you, or you request to do customs yourself which means filling out forms and sending them via letter across Germany to the main customs office in Frankfurt, who then reply and only then Sovereign Couriers will release the package.

I agree, I had to pay a lot more than expected when I imported my shipment from Malaysia via Aramex. DHL would be a much better option.

The bigger the group buy, the worse things can get. Limiting to 50 units makes thing safer for the group buy runner, specially if things go south.
We tend to forget that running a group buy isn't easy.

Can be argued that FCFS is actually much fairer than a raffle because FCFS rewards the dedicated few that get in rather than relying on pure luck regardless of "work" put in.

Yeah I'm personally not a huge fan of there being a weight within a weight on the bottom but since I'm not normally going to see that part of the board, it is something that doesn't bother me nearly as much.

Yeah, I typically fall into the camp of "I don't care all that much because it's at the bottom and I don't see it", as you do. To be fair, my criticism of too many screws is kinda nitty gritty, but at 500 dollars per kit before paying for shipping, paypal fees, and although not absolutely necessary the extra accessories I will likely order (pcbs, plates), this will be one expensive board. Check out the build log linked in the OP for a few pictures of the previous plate, and it will be pretty clear what the differences are (the mounting points and cutouts are the most obvious of them). The old plate was a replica of the Duck Orion plate which has been used by many boards (Mech27, Mira, Jane, etc.)

Hi guys, thank you for all the Google form responses and suggestions. Here are details about the Jane v2.Looks great, can't wait!

Agree. The TGR logo alone is the better choice. It's enough that the brass weight has the Jane engraving on it. Maybe modify that one and include a 2 in that same typeface.

What sort of blue-grey did you have in mind? I know you offered it on the Jane R1. Will it be closer to that tone (more blue than grey) or will it be something reminiscent of the 356.2 (more grey than blue)?
