DIN. It's just a larger version of PS2, can be converted with a passive converter.
How much should I be paying for an 8200? I'd go by ebay prices but they never seem accurate on old boards. 
I'm not sure. I think you could find someone on GH willing to just sell the cable. I did.
Sounds good, I will probably do that, not in any rush to get the cable but I can keep my eyes out for them.
