QuickFire XT Cherry Green release?
« on: Fri, 19 July 2013, 17:59:17 »
Soo....  my venerable Model M is starting to show its age, and from trying a couple other keyboards it sounds like the Cherry MX Greens are the way to go.  (The blues are *way* too weak, for me at least.)

I've been trying to get my hands on a qf steath cherry green for a while now, but I'd really like to have a full-sized keyboard.  I know that the XT is coming out as it can, but Ducky did just release a full-size with Greens (http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=467) -- and I have no idea how long that supply will last.  I don't like not having options -- and the quickfires are fantastic keyboards -- but I also have a feeling that I have a limited window without knowing how long it will take for other keyboards of this caliber to be released.

So, questions :)

  • Are XT's definitely being released with Cherry MX Greens?
  • Will they be released with a "stealth" model? (keycap labelling on the front)
  • If so, is there a tenative timeframe, and what is it?
  • Where can we expect to see them released first? (locale, store, etc)

Thanks! :)
