Paid up, cheers Elton.

Could I add a further request for a silver top, black base render?

I'm currently in for silver-silver (for 9009), but may have selected a black base if a render were available.

Why is the order form still open if max orders (and beyond) have reached? Are all new orders send directly to nirvana or are they waiting to fill canceled slots?

Probably because he's had other things to do over closing it, or giving people a tiny chance considering dropouts and more.

He posted on the previous page that there were a bunch of drop outs and so he reopened the form to get some more standby slots since it hasn't been invoiced/paid yet.

Paid, looking to adjust the stainless steel plate to aluminum. Do you guys know if there's any differences between those ?

some say that stainless steel has a harsher bottomout

There is a difference in feel. Unfortunately the Koreans are all making their plates and PCB's thicker than OTD did so there is not as much difference but aluminum is more forgiving to prolonged typing. Stainless is a firm, hard service and results in a likewise surface for the switches. IMO I would use clicky switches on stainless plates.

You can see in the spreadsheet that not everyone has been invoiced yet. You seem to be one of them :)

Normal recommendation is;
-SS: linears
-Alu: tactile, clicky.

Does anyone know deadline for order changes? Still confused with the color of cases, currently both black, haven't decided yet to keep it or to change to half black, half silver.

Usually he will say when you can't make any further changes. That's when he submits the order to Duck.

Duck boards are hard to gauge -- some are, some aren't. Some holtites are also different sizes than others.

Good news! SA on 11 degrees is actually not that terrible!

Show Image

Bad news! With SA caps (Cherry is fine) the bottom row, especially the space bar, scratch on the inside of the bezel. It appears there is not enough clearance, might wanna inform Duck on that and keep a bit more distance in future designs. I'll probably have to swap back to GMK tonight :( Anyone else with the same problem or any ideas for solution? I might instead also just use the GMK Oblivion white spacebar, the modifiers are okay. RIP beautiful spacebar thock.

Will this be an issue with the Jetfire too?

Turns out it was just me being dumb. All I had to do was open it up again, loosen the screws of the plate and move it a bit further up as I had plenty of clearance at the top row.
