with the size check, is that including the foam or without it?  curious which caps will fit, but can't be transported if i want to use the foam.  for "normal" height caps, does the foam just kinda sit on top (so they could still rattle a little bit) or does it press down on them to keep them in place?

I agree with you 100% dude. Especially after putting the machine finished next to the v1 prototype which was bead blasted, blasting is the way to go. That's my goal for the week, to see if I can find someone local to help me out with that final step.

Yes, die-cut foam is included. The foam is 1/2" thick light charcoal that can be compressed almost entirely between your fingers. It's a perfect fit inside the case and should work even with artisans that max out nearly the entire .81" of head space.
