Hey Everyone!
« on: Sat, 15 December 2018, 13:49:45 »
I’ve been building PC’s off and on for 10+ years.  I started after my Compaq got struck by lightning and I salvaged it for parts.

I never knew there was a keyboarding aspect to the hobby until I jumped back into PC’s a few months ago.

So far I have a Code WASD V2B with Cherry brown switches and I just got an iKBC mf108.  I have a KBD19X kit that should be here this week. I am excited to complete my first build and to learn more as I read through the thread here.

Thank you for having me.

Welcome :)

Yeah keyboards are often over looked in PC building, build a sweet $2000 PC and then try to get a $30 keyboard but as long as it's mechanical it's gucci.

The WASD is great, someone just made a programmable controller for it if you're into that.

Thanks for the welcome.

You’re absolutely right. It’s crazy how the keyboard is overlooked in high end builds.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to look into the controller. I’m not sure what my preference is. I’m still dipping my toe into the hobby .
