POKER II - HHKB caps
« on: Wed, 05 November 2014, 09:55:48 »
Hello, I use my POKER II set up as a HHKB, with the strange but very nice cursor key layer, accessed with the Fn. Its not perfect but as the HHKB is my main keyboard, it really does help when I'm out and about, to keep things the same, so far as possible.

With this in mind, has anyone considered a custom set of MX caps to give to finish the POKER II in HHKB livery? Ideally not the black on black, because they are almost impossible to read, but mainly to incorporate the HHKB-style Fn layer, cursors and other Mac related media stuff, as programmed via KARABINER.

I doubt many others are doing this, but if you fancy a HHKB, then its worth trying such an arrangement before taking the plunge.

If a key cap maker can offer such a set, I'd be interested in this design.

With best,

Thats a cool idea, I've been wondering if the HHKB layout would work for me. I'm trying this today!
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

I'm curious: What did you reprogram and how?
