Exceptions to every rule. My wifes grandfather is a painter. He went to an art show one year and didn't sell a single painting. The host of the show came to him afterword and when her grandfather asked what the problem could be, the host said that his paintings were too cheap. People come to art shows to show off how much money they have. They want to show their friends how much money they can spend.

I have a story like that, we had a stand at a very upper-class antiques fair, 6 chairs on for £600, a chap came up to us, asked the price, thought about it, we offered to drop it down to £550, he said, he would have a browse and come back later. He never came back.
We later found out he had bought the exact same set from someone else for £1300 later on, no reason, no logic. Just ours were too cheap? :3
