Will sliders be available in future group buys for other key cap sets? I did not add any to my order since I do not yet own a Topre and would not have a use for them at the moment. I do plan on buying one eventually though.

Having no experience with keyboard modding, would it be wise to buy the mx to topre sliders? how easy is it to install?

ok firstly guys

this is a keycap buy

we added the option of sliders, so if people wanted to, they could also use these on topre boards

ill do my best to answer any questions now, so i dont have to keep saying the same thing

these will be available on their own at a later date

i will have pics of them shortly

these are used in the same way novatouch ones are, they are aimed at hhkb or realforce users, who dont wanna buy a novatouch just for the stems

they will work for all keys other than the spacebar

we are working on a 6u topre spacebar with an mx stem but topre stab point, this isnt ready yet though so it isnt in THIS buy

if you are interested in just the topre sliders, this isnt the thread for you, but we will release them on their own shortly, but as stated before, they are being made, so topre users can enjoy these sets, whilst we further investigate topre options and alternatives

I couldn't help it, I had to buy the purple set and the modifiers... and all the spacebars. I even got the topre sliders when I don't yet have a topre keyboard :D

Now I gotta buy a keyboard to put them all in. Maybe a KUL?

I know in the other thread you said you can do backlit keys, any idea when that will start? (Next set I hope). I <3 LED.

About the sliders, are there stabilizers included?

no

but topre boards only have stabs on the space bar

But these caps have stems where "stabilized" topre caps do not, correct?  (I don't have a topre board in front of me right now)  How would we handle this?  This might be a bit naive, as it may be similar to what people have done with the Novatouch sliders, but I'd like to know what the recommended method here is.   :thumb:

so the stems on the side of the mod caps that would normally have stabs on an mx board dont have any clearance issues on a topre board

Awesome.  :D  I didn't realize that, so it's great to hear.   :thumb:

I'll be placing an order SoonTM.

Pardon my ignorance as I've never purchased from the ctrlalt site before, but should there have been a confirmation email when it went through? I submitted and paid a few minutes after it went live but it's just processing. My order number is #287501 if that helps.

Too bad they aren't selling the sliders separately. I'm just interested in the sliders.

Anyone in EU who is not interested in the sliders wants to make a joint order? I'll pay everything and you commit to pay the set + shipping to you when the sets gets to my home.

If you're currently frowning upon this let me know and I'll edit my post!

If there's anyone in USA who's going to order just a set w/o the topre stem mods and would be willing to add the stems to their order if I pay for the increased cost + shipping let me know <3

Edit: Decided to just wait until they're sold separately!

Wait, so the sliders are basically novatouch style sliders we need to mod in, or adapters for the stems I don't need to mod into my keyboard?

they are like novatouch sliders yes

although its doesnt take any modding to install them, you just pop the old ones out, and the new ones in

I'm pretty new to topre and haven't done any modding before. Is there any guides that easily tell you how to this?
Regardless, bought a set with sliders!

My order still says processing, how long should I wait to see if my order went through?

That's a classic case for mistake-proofing right there.  Users keep completing their orders without realizing the spacebar is missing.  The system should have a pop-up for orders with no spacebar.

It comes with a spacebar just not a purple one, the spacebar packs are actual extras in addition to what comes with the kits.

This is my first group buy that hasn't been on MassDrop. How much is international shipping? And does the "28 days left" mean I have that long to purchase? Do you get the orders and then create the sets? I really don't want to miss out, I just don't have the money right now. Thanks.
