I would guess that the orange and black set sold more mod kits, seeing that the red and white set already had different color mods in the base set.
I know I got both sets, but only an orange and black mod kit

The SKIDATA+ range uses a Dark Grey Colour but this one is all BLACK, hence no similarities except using the colour Orange.
