this is one of my fav sets of all time, wasn't around R1 when it happened. but I got in the extras till it got lost in mail which made me so sad.
happy to see it coming back but unfortunately its weeb only :( +1 for none weeb base.

also I feel like Katakana would've looked better since the deskmat have Katakana on it. good luck.

Can you add 1.25u L9 spacekey? There is no 1.25U L9 spacekey in any of the r2 kits. There are 1.25U spacekey in accent color. There was 1.25u L9 spacekey in r1 spacebars.

But it is normal to mix hiragana and katakana in the Japanese language.
And it would be more strange to me to write "anarogu dorimusu" in Hiragana since it's a foreign word and thus should be written in Katakana.

Oh interesting. I didnt know that Alix was designed from the same person. I still regret not ordering the ink colorway of the Tokyo60 from back in r1 or 2?  This set would probably look nice on it.

That said, for those looking for 3u spacebars, at least there is relief in knowing that the base color for the regular Analog Dreams kit is beige (L9) so if Pwade decides not to add it, it may be around in other kits (beige sets, OG Spacekeys, etc)

not super interested in this tbh, but i am interested to know why there is always such a big push for 2x 3u bars but no love for 2x 2u or 2.25u? i have seen many boards with 2 x 2u or 2.25u but haven't seen many with 2 x 3u... ? ? ?

So many keys, but no Mac 7U bottom row coverage

Please, consider adding two 1.5U Code keys in the base kit or two 1.5U Novelties It’s the second most popular OS and 7U bottow row is quite a popular layout.

Also, please consider supporting boards with XT column (Ion Zenith, Alchemist Keyboards Ogr) either by providing an Extension kit (like Striker R2) or with novelties.

Regarding Mac 7u bottom row support, it's not a problem for 90% of the sets. I think sometimes designers just not aware that there is a sizeable portion of people who use Mac, because we silently use novelties instead of 1.5U Super, Code etc.

In this case, the set already has coverage for 2x2u and 2x2.25u if you buy the bars kit, so it's not like it's taking away from that. 2x3u is becoming more popular now in general, especially on 40s boards but also on some ergo/alice-style and split variants. new popularity seems to be driven by folks who like the symmetry of 6u and 7u bar spots (with 1u in the middle) but want split bars

idk... the last 10 or so ics on the forties discord are all about 2x 2u or 2x 2.25u
it doesn't help that all to often "bars" kits come with a bunch of garbage like normie bars and its just like "why are you lumping 40s with the normies???". who the hell wants both a bunch of long bars and half a set of short bars? its as bad as "base kitting" where you are either a normie or have to pay premium for just alphas because they also come with a bunch of useless mods.
