Yes, you have till the end of the month.

I will test them before sending them to you (and exchange for a working 'board if there are any issues).

Why is it called a "Poker" keyboard? Does it have anything have to do with poker - or is it just a regular keyboard?

Read the thread, webwit, and sixty's reviews. I have more questions:

1.  Most important, I need an idea of how the profile of this board on the desk, since it does not have legs.  I always use legs and need the rear of the keyboard to be a good bit higher than the front.  I guess I'm either requesting measurements, comparison pics, or a very definitive opinion. For example, the Ducky 10keyless I'm using with legs, the front row of keys is about 1 3/16ths an inch off the desk, and the number row is about 1 13/16ths an inch of the desk (without legs, it's 1 3/16ths front to 1 8/16ths an inch in the rear, which is too low for me).  So a height measurement of the first row of keys and the last row of keys would probably work.

2. Are these PCB or plate mounted?  The review samples are PCB mounted, but there are ordering options in the PDF for plate or PCB mounted, and it doesn't state in the first post.  I'd like to be clear.  :)

3.  Could someone please clarify regarding the dip switches:

SW 1 ON: Lock left windows key
SW 2 ON: Windows_L, ALT_L swap position                (Does _L refer to the left Windows and ALT keys? Logic says yes, but want to be clear...)
SW 3 ON: Caps, Ctrl_L swap position
SW 4 ON: Windows_L becomes FN_L                (This would change the left Windows key to be the FN key, right?  Does the right FN key become a Windows key, or stay an FN key?)
SW 2 and SW 4 are ON: (In this case, does the Left Alt key become the FN key?)

Thanks a bunch!

Good question, one I'd like clarified as well. I was under the assumption that only PCB-mounted was available.

The WASD mod is piss easy, the board already has all the solder spots you need. Dump in some leds, connect the circuit to one of the other existing LEDs (I picked the arrow-lock ones) and enjoy!

The keycaps are prototypes from clickclack. They are not yet available. Apparently they are harder to make than even triple shot.

Also these are all PCB mounted. The document is the actual info from the OEM that makes the keyboard. It only lists possible order options, but KBC did not pick those as of now.

Also some stills of the mod:

It's pretty. If it was usb nkro I'd be buying one, but right now I'm really inbetween. Right now I'm doing my best to switch to a right handed keyboard and left handed mouse as it seems like it'd treat me better. (I'm left handed)

NKRO is overrated.  6KRO over USB is good enough.

Yeah I already have 6nkro over usb with cherry browns. Hard to buy a new board without real reason to justify it.

I plan to submit the order at the end of the month.  There will be other opportunities to order if there is additional interest.  But I would say it is probably best to get in on this initial order if you want to see one this summer.  :)

Yo so my school just decided to say "Okay, you're an academic badass. It's not much, but here's $250 cash as a scholarship."

My first response was, "This late in the semester?"

My second response, ten seconds later, "Oh well, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, but what can I do with $250? It's not mu---OH **** I CAN BUY THOSE POKERS!"

I'm in for Browns and Blues, to do a side-by-side.

Sorry for the noob question, but what is so special about this keyboard?
Is this some kind of "super" company making these or something? Or is it just relatively cheap?

I've got Brown Das (for someone as a gift)  and now am looking to buy one for myself - probably a topre (for the office - because i think it might more silent than browns).

Since I'm looking to buy a new keyboard for myself - should I be interested in this?

Someone decide for me!!!

Sixty kindly replied to a PM I sent him.  Measurements are from the top of the desk to the highest point on the last row, and the highest point on the first row.  Note that Sixty had different key caps then what will be included with the production model, so his measurements are a bit higher, but will still be indicative of the slope of the keyboard.

Measurements are approximate:

KBC Poker:
Desktop to highest point on last row:  1.6 inches (4.0 cm)
Desktop to highest point on first row: 1.1 inches (2.8 cm)
Change of .5 inches

Ducky 1087 (stock, using legs):
Last Row: 1.8 inches (4.6 cm)
First Row: 1.19 inches (3 cm)
Change of .61 inches

Ducky 1087 (stock, no legs):
Last Row: 1.5 inches (3.8 cm)
First Row: 1.19 inches (3 cm)
Change of .31 inches

Cherry G80-8113 (stock, with legs):
Last Row: 1.69 (4.3 cm)
First Row: 1.13 inches (2.9 cm)
Change: .56 inches

I'm a legs (and ass) man, but the Poker will probably be ok without them, as it's close enough to the G80 with legs, which I'm fine with.  If anything, I can probably find some adhesive rubber pads to raise it a tenth of an inch.

So yeah, I was really anal retentive about this, but I'm definitely in on one of these leet little keyboards.  Side note: the english measurement system needs to die.  Metric is so much easier...

I want one of these so bad in either cherry browns or reds. I'm so broke though. If there is another order, or some extras from this one anywhere from june-july I would be interested. I'm not to picky about the switch, If all you have is blue switches, I might order one, but I really do want to get away from the noise, because it's just to loud when I'm up at 2:00AM trying to play games :\

I may have ****ed up something.

So in my order, I put down as my shipping address my actual home, rather than where I'm staying for school.

However, it seems no one wanted to tell me until yesterday that my family that still lives there may not live there much longer.

It's all kinda nebulous right now, what are the odds I can get the shipping address changed later on, maybe to another family member's place?

Not a problem.  Keep me updated.  I will send out emails when we get close to shipping to verify addresses (and to confirm everyone's preferred shipping method).

Australia?  I hate to venture a guess before having the exact weight/dimensions of the package to be sent out (perhaps sixty can provide some info in this regard).  My intent is to not overcharge anyone shipping and allow them to pick the method of shipment (so they can either save the max amount on shipping or expedite, as desired).

Question that may have been asked already (if so, I missed it):

The only variable in the price is shipping from iMav in the US to wherever we are (US in my case), correct?

In other words, The prices we're paying are inclusive of shipping the group buy to iMav? And we don't have to pay additional for shipping to iMav as well?

Correct.  The price listed in the first post includes shipping to my location.  You will just need to pay shipping from Wisconsin to your location.

Thanks iMav, appreciate the clarification.

I'm sorely tempted. I'm probably going to delay the Topre and get either a Leopold or this. Question is, will I be able to cope with the layout...

Decisions, decisions.

Also, I will be at one of two addresses depending on how some circumstances play out over the next two months - in other words, I can't give you a shipping address later. If I do go for this, can I pay now and get a shipping address check when they come in to you?

That's the plan.  It's hard to predict the long term relationship with a supplier so far away...but I intend to continue to make these available as long as there is sufficient demand.

I'm in for a brown switch. I will be sending a paypal order mid week.

Just a couple questions I have about this board that somebody in here may know.

From the samples of this boards that was reviewed, the keys were black text on black keys with white labels for fn keys (on the front). The keys on this one are black with white text and nothing on the front side of the keys? The same with the replacements being sold?

The sample boards switches had a different color for esc/space (for example the mx-blue had a teal and a green), I heard that was only in the samples as well?

Also anybody know what style modifiers for replacement keycaps this board uses? Will my filco ones work?

I'm really looking forward to this. One of my biggest gripes with most keyboards is that they insist on throwing in caps instead of ctrl. Also the windows key is next to useless for me so the fact there are switches to swap them around with ctrl and fn/alt looks perfect. I just hope I can work around the lack of a dedicated escape key.

Do the media keys on this work in windows? Also does anyone know if there is perhaps a way to get the tilde and esc keys to swap? So instead of accessing esc through the Fn key set it to esc by default and have tilde accessible through Fn. Or is that what the last row in the usermanual table says?
