Title: Cherry G80-3700 keypad mods
Post by: samwisekoi on Wed, 03 April 2013, 16:37:30: Does anyone know if the Cherry keypad can have any of the 2x keys split? Specifically I'd like to split the PLUS or ENTER key, but wonder about this in general?

Ivan? Anyone?

I don't think the G80-3700 has the PCB that allows for any of the 2x to be split, otherwise I would have for the +

Ah well. An EQUALS key would have been an excellent addition, IMHO.

I suppose that is why the top row of keys is programmable.

Flynn will maybe run them with the G80-1800 plates

Nice! Since I have numlock always on, I could move NUM to Shift+ScrLk (as on the SSK) and do this:

Leading with the EQUALS for Excel (actually LibreCalc).
