Did you install that plate? I had one and it was PCB mounted, with a red nice PCB.

No, the guy I bought it from did. I think he was from Korea, but I don't remember his name. Does have red PCB, pretty sure all Poker X's did.

I just got my Poker 3 today in the mail. It is really nice, good heft to it, miss that sound and feel of mechs, I bought the keycaps with the keyboard, not having any idea what I  really wanted till I joined & saw the SA, GMK DSK custom sets.  I want that muted, toned down drab colors with a bit of accent color.  GMK PLUM is exactly what I want.  Granite, Dolch, Retro SA, etc etc

I ordered a Rosewood black case and I want a red or all black board, not feelin' the white OEM one.  I might get the whole Poker board copper plated and white case anodized graphite here in town and make something cool.

Speaking of getting lucky, inspired me to create a mockup Daft Punk 3D keycap with hollow inside for an LED.

I usually don't like that keycap style, but the font really makes it.  The red cloth background fits so well, too.

Huh, I think this might actually be my first post here, even after hours of lurking. Oh well. Behold my fire franken-pok3r. Unfortunately the DSA blanks I bought (gray) were missing one key (and they were closeouts) so I don't have the tab/backslash done. And the spacebar teeter-totters like crazy so I'm using the stock of that, as well. The alphas are from a new Ergodox EZ that is waiting to be sold. At least I have some Max Ashens on the way.

It's from TEX. I got it on Massdrop but I've seen other sites selling TEX cases too.

Picked up a second Pok3r (now with MX Blues instead of MX Browns), to fool around with. Currently has a crap dyesub Photoshop themed set on it which when I first got into boards, the pictures online looked 1000x better and with them being labeled PBT, I assumed quality, but they are pretty ****. Even the legends ended up not really matching the Photoshop hotkeys... admittedly, it was mostly for fun, but the quality is just so poor.
I need one more blank yellow modifier (my set came incomplete) to complete the next phase of a ground-up CMYK themed board. I thought it would be a cool novelty board as a graphic designer who utilizes Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop daily, but it's turned into a much larger project than anticipated.

I haven't given up yet though (even with it being such a low priority build that requires hunting out or making the right pieces) and this may be my final push into building my own hi-res dyesub key printer. I have the high-end printing equipment and the skills to build a setup, it's just finding quality parts and redesigning each legend from complete scratch. I have plenty of work to do on the case and switches as well, so this won't be quick. I may end up selling the Pok3r for a better board to give the same treatment to which would allow for custom in-app macros and a better typing experience, but with so many projects already on my plate, we shall see (plus, I already have the Pok3r and it's a cheap board I won't care about just sitting on display or in my collection).

Anyway, here is a slightly vomitous CMYK Photoshop Pok3r. Many changes to come within the same theme eventually:

* Pok3r w/ white backlighting
* Mac key-binding
* Photoshop PBT Keyset (feels like ABS and legends are terrible)
* enjoyPBT CMYK blank modifiers (short a few, so making the perfect setup can be tough)
* MassDrop dirt cheap frosted plastic case
* Karabiner-Elements for any additional custom key-bindings or macros

- Long-term plans include building custom keycap dyesub press to obtain proper legends that are both colors and more reminiscent of current AI/PS hotkeys.
- Custom case that's mostly under wraps at the moment, but will be built on laser cut acrylic, but utilized in a non-traditional sandwich plate setup
- Since this may not get used often, keys may remain, but along with the previously mentioned possible departure from the Pok3r, I may adapt this theme back to a 40% board I was originally using and with the need to already change the keys in that board I have, I maybe go a combo-mod switch to align more with the theme.
- Considering a matching num/macropad for use while in-apps to help quicken workflow.

Who knows... at the end of the day, it's only a Pok3r, so really there is no reason to dump a ton of money into it.
