Greetings from the Netherlands!
« on: Mon, 14 January 2013, 08:00:01 »
Hi all,

After reading this forum for a while, I decided to sign up and introduce myself.

I am Roger and live in the Netherlands. Got (re-)introduced in the world of mechanical keyboards by a collegeau, after working with one very, very long ago

So I bought one, a Filco Majestouch 2 with Cherry MX Browns, and I have to say: great piece! Very happy with my purchase   ;D Mainly using it for typing BTW...

Hope to get more in-depth info from to numerous threads on this great forum, so I can "spice up" my knowledge some more!

Regards, Roger

Welcome to Geekhack!

As well as spicing up yuor knowledge, you can spice up your keyboard with some nice custom keycaps :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
