hi from MA
« on: Tue, 05 March 2013, 15:26:56 »
just wanted to say hi

I'm also on a quest to find _the_ perfect keyboard :)
For now I've settled on TrulyErgonomic until my ErgoDox arrives.

After spending so much money on crap-boards and dealing with RSI/CTS, I won't even look at, let alone
try, any keyboard that is NOT an orthogonal/matrix layout (only exception is IBM Model M) ;)

p.s.: liked the "A popular serial bus for keyboard connectivity" question :)

The "A popular serial bus for keyboard connectivity" has three answers actually, ADB, PS/2 (though I think that its PS2 on the registration), and USB. Welcome to Geekhack! If you need help assembling the eDox, there are multiple members among Geekhack, including myself, Gupgup and WhiteFireDragon (to name a few) that do soldering services. :)

Welcome listboss, and glad you found a keyboard that works for you!  RSI is a very good reason to get into the hobby. :)
