Hello,

I'm Harm, i'm from the Netherlands.
I have been lurking for a while now.
I bought my first mechanical keyboard a Ducky One DKON1508F about a year ago. It has mx brown switches and is perfect for at home.
So two months ago i also bought a cheap mechanical keyboard off aliexpress with blue switches for at work. This is a TKL and i have to say it types rather well, only am i missing my numpad. I'm a mechanical engineer and use the numpad more than I thought. I bought a TKL because my 3d mouse(spacenavigator) would be closer to my comfortable workspace. I have thought of a solution but that i will post in the workshop.

Kind regards,
Harm

Welcome!  You could just get a dedicated numpad, like this: https://www.amazon.com/Filco-Majestouch-TenKeyPad-Tactile-Numberpad/dp/B000MGBPNI

I don't see any advantage to having the numpad attached to the keyboard, except saving one USB port.

thanks

I could do that but then again i could also just take a full keyboard. What i am tying to make is this https://photos.app.goo.gl/xcXoMR8lYoY8s0bC3 so the 3d mouse is more integrated in the numpad
