[IC] HHKB Wood/Brass

Hey guys, posting this to gauge interest and get feedback on my design for a wood/brass HHKB for MX switches. I'll only be able to make a few of these, maybe 4. It'll be compatible with the DZ60 PCB. The brass block where the HHKB logo usually is will have a design laser engraved on it. If you have any tips, or have an idea for the engraving it's very appreciated!
The angle is 7 degrees, and it will be made of cherry wood! I'll be buying all the materials and making the cases up front, so you don't have to worry about buying a case that hasn't been made yet!

Again, please let me know if you have any engraving ideas!

Really nice looking design!!

Any way to incorporate a brass weight in the base to give it a little more oomph?

How about the cherries from thr Chery logo, since this is MX compatible? It's one of my favorite logos and seems like it would be perfect for engraving!

I thought about it, but it would increase the price by a LOT, so I decided not to do it

I think the Cherry logo would actually be perfect the more I think about it. And made with cherry wood? It might have been meant to be!

Will the plate have options for solid space bar to go with the PCB?
Really nice looking design!!

The wood will have a lot of reverberation, but I am having a hard time imagining how that will play with a brass plate. Wood alone can make clicky switches really loud... Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about that?

Really nice design!

Personally I prefer plate which allow switch opening.

It looks pretty thick in the renders, so should have ample room for sound damping sheet under the PCB.

Yeah there's 1cm of clearance under the plate

I long for the day when I find a beamspring. (At a not insane price)

Nice one, I like that it's an "MX HHKB" with an actual 6u space.
