The invoice will be sent to the E-Mail of your Discord account that you can see on the koi raffle website, but you will then be able to use the link in the E-Mail to check out with your account on the store (https://oblotzky.industries/). Answer this correctly, if you select No and then end up placing your order for example to France, your order will be canceled and your spot is lost. While the raffle would be live now, we are experiencing slight technical difficulties. Please hold on a moment until it has been resolved. Thanks. Resolved :)

All entries were reset during the fix, please enter again if you did enter before. The main page should look like this if your entry is registered:

So, have invoices gone out?

You should join his discord, there is a link on the product page at the bottom.  As of now, when I write this, there are still some invoices for non-EU purchases that he is working on.  So if you are not in the EU, yes, there is still a chance you will get a spot.  I think he's close to finished, though.

Score, got an invoice! Wonder how many people entered the raffle? At first I thought that it was 7,000 based on the koi raffle system but I'm assuming that's for multiple different raffles (ie. including the Bauer as well)

From the discord newsroom channel:

Quote
All initial 200 invoices for the Aurora Input Series 65 have been sent out! Please check your spam/social/ads folders to be sure not to miss it if you got one. Please verify the contents of the invoice, and pay if you're happy with them. Simply reply to the E-Mail if you believe there to be an error, or you want to adjust colors/extras AND WAIT WITH PAYING UNTIL I HAVE MADE THE CHANGES.

You have 48 hours to pay the invoice from when you received it, after that I will re-raffle the spot. If you chose not to take the spot at all, please reply to the E-Mail so that I can re-raffle it ASAP.

So, if you don't have an email, you didn't win a spot.  However, a few spots will open up in the next 48 hours.

I sent out the final batch of re-raffled invoices on Friday, which run out Sunday night. Part quantities are then finalized and submitted to begin the manufacturing process. Thanks to everyone that joined the raffle! I intend to do another round in the future, so if you didn't get an invoice, this wasn't the last chance to get a board.

Guten Tag!

Material has started to arrive at Salvun's workshop! This picture shows about 15% of the entire amount that will be used to fulfill this GB.

PCB's have been ordered and paid for about 3 weeks ago, they should be done before Chinese New Year.

Plates are currently being ordered, Zambumon played around with the files a bit more to fine tune stuff.

The carrying bags have been ordered when the Dixie bag buy closed, I think they will also be done before CNY and then ship to me via train.

So far so good!

PCB's have arrived

Plates are scheduled to ship out in about one month

Carrying bags have shipped out, pending arrival

Cases will soon start going to the anodizer, weights are also being worked on

Here's some pictures of the final pre-production units after we tried a second anodizer who will now be doing all of the boards. Outside screws will be included in both silver and black so you can pick what you prefer.

The stainless steel weights will only be beadblasted on the outside surfaces as finishing the inside area would triple work hours on that part.

How is the GB advancing so quickly? Did you guys order all the materials before the GB ran?

This is exciting.

Update #2

significant progress has been made for this project, so I am sharing some information today. Salvun has completed the machining of the top and bottom case parts a few weeks ago and sent them to the anodizer. We expect that anodization and the following QC will be done in the second half of July. Weights have also been completed and are now being bead blasted while the aluminium parts are going through anodization. We estimate that I will be receiving the order by the end of July so that I can start fulfilling orders.

The plates have been received, QC'd and approved.

The carrying bags have also arrived! They are identical to the Dixie Keyboard bags that I offered late last year (and are currently in stock!) in terms of specifications, the branding is different as you can see :)

I have used the newly arrived plates to build up the two pre-production units that I showed off in the previous update. Both ANSI and ISO are working great!

That's it for today, I will update when we get close to fulfillment. In that likely final update there will be the chance given to change the address if necessary.

As usual, take care and best of health,

- Oblotzky

it won't happen for a while. they want to run other form factors first (60%, i think 1800 was mentioned, etc). an r2 is probably more than a year and half away

I've been using this board every day for nearly two weeks now, and I am entirely in love. I have the black variant, and the anodization is so smooth to the touch while still looking textured and the sound (with MX Blacks (60g L springs, L&F) on alu) is absolutely terrific. Zero hollowness, just a rich, clacky top-mount sound. To me, this is an instant classic that will not leave my desk for a long time. An absolute joy. /Johannes

Some potato pics of my board. The goal is to put GMK ThinkCaps on here once they arrive, and until then, ePBT WhuyinZhuyin is doing an excellent job.

I left the smudges and marks my fingers left on the weight intentionally - to me, these underscore the industrial and no-nonsense attributes of this keyboard and reinforce its impression as a tool to be used, not a super shiny statement piece to be polished and pampered.

Best,
Johannes
