Tapatalk always shows the posts times off by 2 hours. But the site clock is correct. I know it appears to be a tapatalk thing but I've messed with the settings to no avail and it bugs me lol. Anyone know how to fix it?

I just noticed that none of my sent messages are saved. Is this intentional?

So offtopic threads now have to be approved?? I thought mods were already busy.
no, they don't. you've probably hit the spam filter by accident. someone will be by to approve your thread shortly.

Getting 504 Gateway Time-out when I preview or post. :(

Edit:  When it times out on a post it takes a few seconds for it to reflect in the thread.  When it times out when I preview...poof...nothing.

So, someone sent a comment on my profile, but I can't for the love of me figure out where to view said comment. Bug or am I just missing something obvious? The link it provides takes me to my profile... but that's it. Nothing there to see.

I'm going with no on that... How does one turn on the "ultimate profile" you speak of?

EDIT: Sorted. Thanks spamray!

I'm running into what sounds like the same issue ... 504 Gateway timeout when I try to preview my post. It only ever seems to happen when I'm using the [img] tags though.

Not sure if this is a bug or not but when I log in geekhack from my iPhone (Chrome browser) it doesn't log me off even though I'm not active or the app is closed but on my iPad it constantly logs me out after 10~15 mins of inactivity.

probably not a bug. your cookie times out based on the time you give it when you log in. your machines are probably set up with different login settings on your multiple chrome instances.

anyway, imav thinks he fixed the gateway timeouts earlier today. please post here to let us know if you continue to run into it.

Don't know if this is an actual bug, but I recently noticed something about the email service for notifications. It doesn't send them in the right order. I was talking with Spamray, and when he responded in quick succession, I received the second email notification before the first. Not really a big deal, but it seems there is a problem with how the system orders emails to send out.

Does your email client sort by "Date" or "Date Received"?  Many clients do the latter so that messages are sorted properly, even when spammers use fake dates.  Email doesn't always arrive in the exact order that it went out.

I think it sorts by date received (on gmail), but there is a good 5 minutes between the second and first message I received. That was what I found odd. This may just be a one time thing, I only noticed it today. Just thought I should mention it.

The last PMs I had were last night (about 20 hours ago).  Email notification was working then.

Clogged email queue?

I don't have that problem, and I run the paid version of Malwarebytes as well. Does your browser have any suspicious add-ons that installed by itself? I also run adblock, so I dunno if this forum has adspace.

I run adblock+ and google chrome

There is no adspace on GH AFAIK, the forum runs entirely on donations
