Why do people keep posting keyboards that are so small?

My g19 has more color options and buttons.  Lamers.

Is that a Logitech?

I googled. It is, apparently, the one that can custom program LED colours!
I don't know why you buy a g19 when you could get a razer deathstalker ultimate.

Issint it the blackwidow?

The Blackwidow is the cheaper version. Not as good because it doesn't cost as much.

My god. I have been lagging behind on the Razer keyboards!

I just read most of this thread. The likeness to reddit is uncanny.

On topic: I need a board with MX clears or greens, and it has to be backlit, and if it costs over $80 my mom says I can't have it.

I just remembered a good one

"You can't play games good on Topre because the polling rate of the spring is less that 1Hz, and the switch bumps so hard that you have to push down like animal to type on it at more than 1 wpm"

Saw that one on reddit a long time ago. It was a PM to me after I recommended an HHKB to a programmer with an infinite budget.

Am I too late for the Clack sale?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

WHAT ARE ALL THOSE CLACKS YOU ARE CONSTANTLY RAVING ABOUT
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

On the other hand, the people who hate on the HHKB and have a good reason to, they often make good points :)

I really would hope forum noobs would count.

and isn't the whole point of this thread to prove how annoying noobs are?

By your reaction, I feel as though I've succeeded.

OSOM!
