I didn’t see a thread of this type so, have you hooked up your loved one up with keyboard gear?  Post it up.









This Ducky Shine 2 was one of the first boards I bought; I ended up giving to the wife.

The IMTSO thick PBT set came in today, thanks bdtbinh for the smooth transaction.

I got her the GirlDC cap Dec 13 in that group buy for a stocking stuffer.

And bought both of us a The_Beast wrist rest summer 13.

The BBv2 is on long term loan  :p

She isn’t into the hobby like I am, but she appreciates the aesthetic and feel of the gear.

Guess it's not necessary to post a pic of a Model M 1391403 as all of you have an idea what those look like. Whats special about it, it was "born" on the exact same day as my better half and both of us were excited when we found her ibm twin.  :)

I bought my wife a Ducky DK9008 Shine II (http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=322) and then added some white key caps to change it up a bit. Well, my mother-in-law fell in love with her daughter's keyboard and wanted one of her own. Although that model Ducky was a limited run, I got lucky and found another one on MK.com and snagged it.

My life partner mostly uses a laptop and I've not been able to convince them to get a real board to use on top of it... Maybe one day tho

Same. I've set her up with my SSK, HHKB, and 660c in the past. I would leave and come back 15-20 minutes later to see the keyboard disconnected.

I've come to accept that my other half doesn't appreciate the keyboard game as much as I do; however, she does use a Filco Ninja with reds now. She says it's almost too noisy, though.

nothing special, just a scissor switch keyboard, although she is interested in keyboards, yesterday we were in a charity shop and saw a cherry keyboard, she immediately identified it as a g83 before i even picked it up to look at it!

My girlfriend Sarah (sarahnicole here on GH) has as many keyboards as I do! She doesn't plan on getting any more though since she says she'd rather spend money on BlackMilk  :'(

Her current daily driver is a QFR w/ Blues & the Miami R1 set (She really liked it so i gave it to her. She's gonna buy me the R2, which thankfully was released!)

She has an Icestorm v2 which she loves because of the glitter. Her previous wishlist had a Unicorn Blood v2 but she liked the ice effect from the Icestorm. Thanks Psybin for the hookup!

Another one she has is a CM Quickfire TK w/ Blues and modded to have Pink LEDs. This was the first keyboard I got her and was my first soldering job. She jokes around and says I got her the keyboard with this in mind: "I got her a keyboard, so you know it's real". Hey, if you love someone, buy them a keyboard, right?  :p

With the TK, she has a Sifo's Soul that she loves and matches perfectly with the pink LEDs. Thanks for the hookup Badwrench!

Using tapatalk on my phone, she tried to get in to the Clackvent yesterday on the way back from Disneyland. She had trouble getting in because of all the notifications and wonders how I got in so many times on my phone. Surprised out of my mind, she gets a PM from CC and she won. So congrats to her on getting her first Clack  :thumb:
