Sculpting directly onto the base mold -  great idea! I bet you'll get a ton more design flexibility that way. Excited to see how it turns out.

My favorite from a looks perspective is Lion Keyng V3.

Those would look good on just about any board.

That's from what I'd call the Second Era of Binge (fall-winter 2013).  First Era (summer-fall 2013) was hand-sculpted and hand-painted stuff to raise funds, this was sculpted and cast.


For the purposes of preserving the historical record, can we then say that it goes like this:

First Era (summer-fall 2013): hand-sculpted and hand-painted stuff to raise funds
Second Era  (fall-winter 2013): sculpted and cast
Third Era (winter 2013 to now): Creation of slo-fi and caps that are still today being produced

I'm not 100% sure on the dates, as it's hard to find and nail down specific dates for these designs.

Also, the divisions are less influenced by dates and more by artistic growth, which of course makes it heavily based on my own opinion.  Curious to hear what others think of it.

Sadly, I don't have any OG binges so i can't chart the progression of cast quality (to the point where they're basicaly perfect now)  but I'll take your word for it on when that happened.

I wish we could include first round caps. I mean, where else are you gonna find an Old Gregg cap?
