PainMaster, any estimate of when this GB will go live? In other words, when will we be able to buy?

Well...
Actually, I'm all set to get request, but...

I'll check with you in a few days.

Can we expect the GB to go live anytime time soon ? Can't wait for this keyboard, some of my colleagues might be interested as well.

I sold my original VE.A due to the SATA cable issue causing lag. However, I would be in for Round 2 if the lag issue was resolved!

For the LOGO, I think we should go for classy and refined, providing colors such as black, gold, and silver for the logo. Maybe 1 logo option with a mix of colors for the people who want colors in the LOGO?

I don't experience any input lag, but my typing WPM is not great. When gaming though I never seem to have an issue.

I believe the logo color will be customizeable with a range of offered logo plate types so you can choose one that best suits you.

If you look through the thread, SATA was not the cause for the input delay people experienced.

Thanks(?) to your many requests,

We're working on a sample of VE.A 2nd's PCB

We're still seeing some modifications.

First, all SATA + USB mini-connectors were changed to USB - C.

And, PCB patterns are being organized.

This is not a finished product.

It's about 90% complete.

This is great. I hope the case design sees some modifications as well -- there were some oddities, such as the cutouts of the acrylic (v1's straightness was sleek), the badge and logo, the tenting, and such.

Good news that VE.A 2 is going to get type-c support for all connectors. I guess it's for the better, losing the iconic SATA connector.

What about software, still going to be using bootmapper? Would hope that we could change that too. Not sure who is the creator of bootmapper and since winkeyless have closed, if possible, maybe change the way on how to configure the board to some of the newer and latest way. QMK? etc.

This will be unpopular opinion but qmk blows ass for new users and is not friendly whatsoever.. boot mapper works 99% of all users without needing a programming degree in order to get the damn thing working. I have no idea why anyone prefers qmk over any of the more simple interface is out there.

I don't mind using bootmapper. Speaking from my usage, been using VE.A since I got it, I have never used macro or layers. I did re-map a few keys to my liking, that's about it.

My primary concern is mostly because bootmapper seems to be a winkeyless.kr thing, I might be wrong. Just want to future proof things if that makes sense.
