Nope I actually spray painted a spare janky plate I had, after I dremeld it into a partial plate.

Good eye on the Esc, it is indeed an alu OTD

Super nice  :thumb:   Always loved the KMAC 1/1.2's.  Them and the KMAC2's have some of the best looking grey ANO.

Did the half plate come that color?  I've only ever seen the full red plates like on my KMAC2.

Thank you for blessing us with a lot of pictures, build log photos are the best! :thumb:

Which MX Blacks are those and what "mods" did you do? Not good with identifying them from the Cherry logo.

I wish I would have been more thorough with the quality of the board itself, truthfully this was my first 'detailed' build log

MX blacks: https://www.arrow.com/en/products/mx1a-11nw-1/cherry-americas-llc

I believe they are retooled blacks. However when I purchased them they were $0.16 each haha.

-neoprene foam in the case bottom for firmness and sound dampening
-krytox 3204 lubed switches
-white switch films
-clipped, superlubed, bandaided stabs
-epbt kbdfans black blanks
-custom boops i made with her/pony to match this build <3333

How do you like the full-plate polycarb? I have mixed feelings on mine -- some days it feels like just the right amount of flex, other days it feels too soft.

It feels softer, relative to the original steel plate this keyboard had. I think the facts that this keyboard is tray-mount and that the plate lends to a bit of a softer bottom-out somewhat balance each other out. Nonetheless, it's better than before and that's what matters to me.
