Eagle Scout Key
« on: Fri, 19 April 2013, 19:56:05 »
Alrighty here goes.
  • 10 keys. No more, no less.
  • Bottom row, SP profile. They make good winkeys for 86 key layouts, arrow keys, etc. Be creative.
  • Your order will be shipped from me.
  • $1.50 per key, plus shipping from me.
  • You must prove you are an Eagle. Trustworthy, remember? :P
This is what I hope to have them look like. I need to find a better image/vector of it to get it to look nice.

EDIT: I WILL BE PURCHASING ALL THE KEYS AND THEY WILL BE DISTRIBUTED BY ME! Sorry for the confusion.

But it's been so long that I don't know where my paperwork is. :(
Currently GMMK Pro: lubed 68g U4T, FR4 plate, extra gaskets, etc

Ohh, nice.  Count me in.  And here's my proof:

I'm sure I could dig out my sash from somewhere and/or my book of congratulation letters as well.

Smallfry if you can get me the image you want to use by Tuesday that'd be great. It just needs to be bigger then 600x600 and not super grainy. .png files work best.

I would love one.  What kind of proof are you looking for?  I actually got my Chief Scout in 1994 in Canada (I lived there for 3 years) and then moved to Memphis in 1995 and finished my Eagle there in 1998.  I went to a Canadian Jamboree, a World Jamboree (in the Netherlands), and did Philmont in 1996. Had a great time.

Is it too late to jump on-board? I'd love to get on this!

If not and someone has a few extra, I'd love to work out some sort of trade.

Hm, my proof is also in my parents house (far way).  I should have kept that card.  I think it is in the frame with the certificate...  I'll think of something.

Here is the final order list. Apologies to anyone who did not get in, as I don't think I can get Rag to produce more keys at this time. When I receive the keys, I will check them out, and then collect payment for shipping and what not. :)

Just full disclosure, I rounded to 15 to make it easy for Imsto and I. (The original order SmallFry requested was 13.) I'm giving one to my cousin since he's an Eagle, and the other one you guys can fight over. SmallFry did I ever invoice you for these? I think I forgot LOL.

It's still happening, things will just be done differently since Smallfry was heading it up and it was his baby.  I talked to Ragnarok about it and he's trying to figure out how he wants to do it.

Correct. I am waiting for whoever among the admin/mod team that's supposedly going to contact me on whether to refund Smallfry's Paypal account or not.

Basically what I want to do is get all the money that Smallfry spent getting the keys from me for this group buy back to his family, and then just send out invoices to the participants as Smallfry planned on doing AFAIK. However, as I am looking to do nothing other than cover the costs of doing this, (Same as Smallfry planned to do in exchange for getting the keys at cost, again he was such a bro.) all I will be charging for is shipping and the raw costs of keys. It should work out to under $5 per person if they're in the US and only getting 1 key. I'm finally back home so I can get back to work here and you can all expect significant updates later this week.

Cheers,
Dave

I haven't been checking the site very often for the last few months.  After seeing your comments above, I checked the site announcements.  I am very sad to hear about his passing.  I don't know what else to say.
