They are optional.

And possibly not everyone realises that they are available (especially if they don't read this section of the forum).
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Do I get a star for accidentally finding a series of porn pics with a woman shoving a gh80212 mouse into her *******? (Yes, the resolution is high enough to read that from the bottom of the mouse sticking out of her.)

Yes, but I prefer to remember you as the hentai googler.

Ah, ok, my bad.  But the comment was in response to q request for a custom title, not a star.

Elders should be determined by date registered, not by posts made. A different title should be made for post counts.

That's what i am thinking,

Wrong use of the word and seems unfair for someone to be able to get a star next to their name by just asking and having a post count of ____. Seems like something that should be earned. It gives the wrong impression to new people on geekhack on understanding who is who here. "Oh i shouldn't care what this guy says, he doesn't have a star or custom title" <- a little bit of sarcasm there

I got my star!

when i think of a geekhack elder, i dont think of Thimplum

the system is flawed

^This, lol...

Elders should be determined by date registered, not by posts made. A different title should be made for post counts.

I guess I'm a n00b then.

clearly

Starpls! I'll go Cyan if possible :D
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.
