I can post in other threads (this one, for example), it only seems to be that post that won't go through.

I clicked the "Quote" link on 0100010's post, removed the link to the first image, typed my reply and clicked "Post".

Actually it looks like the replies went through, and I inadvertently created multiple copies of the same post.

But the error consistently appeared.

Edit: Got the same error again trying to post another reply in the same thread.  The reply went through though: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=61962.msg1446023#msg1446023

Maybe something wrong with that thread?

It happened to me a few weeks ago. But I just re-signed in on all my devices and it has been fine since. I don't think the cookies actually last forever, but it is a long time.

I've found that when I accidentally press logout on mobile, it logs out all devices that I'm signed in. Other than that, mine hasn't expired yet.

Getting a weird bug today. Just started today, anyway. Whenever I submit a text post the site stalls out and stays on the submit page until the page 504s. But when I reload the page it seems my text posts are being posted right away. Not really affecting my functionality, just an odd annoyance.

Been getting time outs, gateway errors on both my desktop and phone which is leading to inadvertent double and triple posts.

For me, it only gives me the gateway error if it's a long ass thread like Brobot Therapy or any of the threads in the media section.

If it is external pages, GH doesn't have much (any) control over how they load.

I've been having lots of trouble the last hour with getting photos that were uploaded to GH to display. They start to load but hang somewhere between 10% and 50% complete. After a short while they timeout and just display blank outlines. In fact, I haven't been able to get a single photo attachment from GH to load for the last hour. Images from Imgur/Flickr/etc load without issue.

This is how pretty much every attached photo looks (this one is from the Post Your 40% Keyboard thread)



Edit - closed chrome, cleared cache/cookies/etc with ccleaner ... no difference

Each picture is about 910KB in size.

Nope, just GH. Mostly it happens on threads, but it also happens on the indexes. I have to refresh a page about half a dozen times, sometimes more to get the full thread.

I've had to hit the reply button on this just to see the previous posts because it wouldn't load.

I have a topic that is a mouse guide. Multiple people have told me now that they can not view it. And for those who can, it is partly cut off and part of the posts are displayed differently from others.

Still happening for me. Affected threads :

- loser alert: twerp sells celeb nudes 4 ****coins". [~ 16:00 - 16:15 EST]
- nubbinator's continuing thoughts on Topre [~ 16:40 - 16:50 EST]


- cleared entered browser cache, history, all data
  - no change
- **** Only occurs when I am logged in
  - browsing as anonymous user displays normal functionality. Page loads fine

Current browser is chrome on nexus 7, latest stable. Will confirm later on pc Confirmed! Winderz Sevin and Chrome latest--same thread

- subsequent reloads of the thread are slowly starting to trickle in more and more text

A bottleneck somewhere--possibly db , can't rule out nginx just yet either but on a good note it is serving up the cached instance rather well to the anon users

This is genuinely unuseable. I have to refresh every page at least twice, and long threads I can't see anything past about 15 posts down.

It's probably my work's **** internet, but this is the only time I really go on GH

My internet speed is  100 Mbps and this happens constantly. Happens with my both computers.

I'm finding the occasional thread with a picture that just won't load.  Sometimes I refresh the page a dozen times, and the picture partially loads to a different extent each time.  But eventually the request times out and the picture does not appear.

Occasionally when I refresh the picture does appear.  About 90% of the times it does not.
